What it is

The Expert Readiness Program is a paid program where domain experts complete real human data tasks to practice how work is done at micro1 before being onboarded to pipelines. The goal is to give you a clear, hands-on view of the work, while helping us evaluate readiness in real-world conditions. Participation is paid, time-bound, and does not guarantee placement on a pipeline.

Who is eligible and how experts are invited

The Expert Readiness Program is available to experts who have already completed the micro1 interview and certification process and meet the baseline requirements to work on human data pipelines. At this time, the Expert Readiness Program participation is by invitation only. If you are eligible for the program, you may receive an invitation from the micro1 team. Experts may be invited to join the program when:
  • They have successfully completed the micro1 AI interview and certification process
  • Their expertise aligns with upcoming or anticipated pipelines
  • The team wants to evaluate readiness for specific types of human data work
  • There is capacity available in the program
If selected, experts will receive an invitation with instructions to complete onboarding and begin the readiness tasks.

Why this program exists

This program serves three purposes:
  1. Skill Application: Learn how to apply your domain expertise to produce high-quality human data using micro1’s task structures and tools.
  2. Readiness: Stay calibrated and ready to deploy quickly when new pipelines become available.
  3. Fair Evaluation: Get evaluated based on actual work, not just interviews or theoretical assessments.

What you’ll work on

To start, you’ll complete Rubric-based human data tasks that closely mirror real work on active micro1 pipelines. Additional task types may be introduced in future iterations.

How you’re paid

  • Compensation amounts vary depending on the level of difficulty, and time required, for each task.
  • All payments are handled through Deel (payroll.micro1.ai).
This allows us to:
  • Pay you quickly and compliantly
  • Reduce friction if you’re later invited to live pipelines

Onboarding

You’ll complete:
  • Required onboarding documentation
  • Identity verification (if not already complete)
  • Payment setup via Deel

Training

You’ll receive a short, step-by-step video walkthrough covering:
  • How rubrics are structured
  • How to complete tasks correctly
  • How to use the micro1 data platform

Simulated work

You’ll complete one or more rubric tasks designed to reflect real production expectations, constraints, and quality standards.

  • Does not guarantee placement on a pipeline
